ok myabe drupal then if you want opensource/exportable. it's great for
community sites. or joomla (the online course sites I use
maybelogic.netuses joomla. has forums etc too, not sure about video
but there's prob a
joomla plugin)

the ning emails I get are links back to the site to read the posts - not
sure if this is configurable by admins?
but if someone sends me a message to my user account I see most of the
message (it truncates in the email but has a link to the site)
