Just wanted to clear up the timings because there was some concern about the timezone issue, particularly from Australia, where they're many hours ahead.
I think in most cases, it will work to let people go up to Midnight in their own timezone. Or even a little after. Most of the participants are in North America, so the time difference isn't that great. Even those N Americans handing over to Europeans will still deliver their videos before the Europeans wake up on their assigned day. It'd only be a problem if a European is scheduled to make a video on a certain day and wants to start making it the moment that day starts - ie between midnight and 6am, and they had to wait until the previous person reached midnight in North America. Perhaps it's best if each of you speak to the person who's before you and following you, to work it out between yourselves. The only real problem I can see is with Kath - who's 11 hours ahead of Ian, and 18 hours ahead of Cheryl. So she potentially wouldn't get her video from Ian until 11am her time, and then Cheryl potentially wouldn't get her video until 6pm Phoenix time, giving her only 6 hours to do it! I'll send an email offlist between you, and see if we can figure out a timing compromise. Any other big problems/clashes anyone can see?
