3weeks took make IMOVIE edit on MAC in livingroom (for reasons I won't go into) to be told by APPLE that I can't upload anywhere but Youtube or save on computer elsewhere unless I want to waste 1 hr to convert for 5 minute vid thru QT which I did and haven't checked where it is on the computer yet and to make sure it shows on other sites and tubemogul yet and be able to upload (we checked the imovie ones together over the phone and they are all greyed out and not uploadable anywhere but exports already in imovie, in this case for me would be utube). I was told i need to buy FINAL CUT PRO $1,200.00 plus tax for these simple features WMM has and to save on computer or upload anywhere because it works in mpeg2 and 4 (if memory serves me correctly), because iMovie doesn't have a recognizable codex which I have never seen prior btw.When able, I need to upload to Tubemogul, not all my vid's but some, especially later on and I like the skimmin features in imovie they are easier for me to edit. Does any one know of any way around this with iMovie? 1 hour to convert a 5min30sec vid is absured. The Apple Tech was rather shocked himself.
