Happy New Year, collective wisdom! I begin 2010 with 2 questions: 1. Does anyone know of a source for the Madness TV series, with Jonathan Miller, 1991? 2. Do academic media librarians out there purchase software that students can check out-an instructor asked me to purchase training software on DVDs, and since it can't be used here in the Library, I'm wondering if our collection is the right place for it.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
