If  the person who posted the initial query wants to contact me off 
list, go for it. Also, since those NetFlix (or Blockbuster) videos are 
home-use only, they are totally legit for face-to-face teaching. I have 
noticed lately that NetFlix is including more educational titles - 
unless I've misread things and someone sitting at home really wants to 
see that Sir Gawain and the Green Knight DVD.

My next question is about their streaming titles. Now /that/ is 
something to consider. At length.

relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control, 
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and 
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective 
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication 
between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and 
distributors.
