It's old and only available on VHS(OOP) but an important series nonetheless for
people doing research on this subject.

Oil an eight part series originally aired on PBS in 1987.

Subject: [Videolib] Films about Oil: more suggestions?

Greetings!

The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has generated a greater interest
in films about oil as we are finding from orders and search queries.

To help internet searchers interested in this subject, Green Planet
Films has compiled a resource list of oil films
http://greenplanetfilms.org/blog/?p=387

and we know there are many more to include. If you have any
suggestions, please send the titles our way!

Also, if possible, please include any direct links to the film's
webpage or distributor's purchase page.

Thank you

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
