Both a 1990 fact-based feature film,

Das Schrekliche Mädchen ( The Nasty Girl )

and a 1993 CBC Prime Time Magazine 25-minute documentary, "Nasty Girl"
When teenager Anna Rosmus decided to write a history of wartime resistance to the Nazis in her Bavarian hometown of Passau, Germany, she uncovered a far darker story than she expected. This Canadian Broadcasting Corporation documentary chronicles the obstacles she overcame to uncover the truth about the past, and her fight against NeoNazis in Passau today.

Hope this helps.

I received the following request from a faculty member. I'm drawing a blank. Any thoughts?

"It's about a young German woman who tries to investigate the history of the Nazis in her town, & keeps getting stymmied every step of the way by people who do not want her to uncover the past. Maybe made in the 1980s. Cannot remember if it was in Deutsch or English. It's not "White Rose," which I have also seen."

Thanks,
Tom
