According to the reviews and comments on IMDB, Jerry Lewis has the one
print, possibly finished, possibly not. The film is a legal limbo
from which it is not likely to emerge. Cast members who saw the print
were embarrassed. People who have read the script said it was
tasteless and horrible.

I am not sure if you are kidding, but I was not trying to be
snarky. Can someone check on OCLC and tell me if someone actually
claims to have a copy of THE DAY THE CLOWN DIED? A friend of mine
who programs a film festival in Atlanta sent out an April Fools
press release that it would finally premier there with Jerry Lewis
