FYI for those not aware, Kickstarter has become a new way to fund indie films and films projects. Anne Aghion the director of the Gacaca films about post genocide Rwanda which I regularly plug here, just did a successful Kickstarter campaign to open a media archive in Rwanda. She raised $47,000 with a goal of $40,000. I don't know how successful most of these are, but it is a cool idea and not just to make film themselves, but in Anne's case to help preserve and make them available
