Depends on the show. 24 with missing disc is frustrating. A sitcom - usually doesn't matter.
We update the record. Series are always repackaged into 2-disc cases so the missing one isn't as obvious/problematic as if had to be noted when checking in/out a box of 6 DVDs for example.
