Jeanne, Is there a chance that National Geographic has re-released it with an updated title?
Searching their website I see "Australia's Aborigines DVD Exclusive" and shows a copyright date of 1989 http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/product/national-geographic-dvd-exclusives/australia's-aborigines-dvd-exclusive?prevNav=true Norm Norman Howden, Ph.D. Assistant Dean, Educational Resources El Centro College 214-860-2176 nor...@dcccd.edu Please visit our website at: http://www.elcentrocollege.edu/library/ "It may plausibly be urged that the shape of a culture - its mores, evaluations, family organizations, eating habits, living patterns, pedagogical methods, institutions, forms of government, and so forth - arise from the economic necessities of its technology." - Heinlein, 1940 >>> Jeanne Little <jeanne.lit...@uni.edu> 11/2/2011 10:56 AM >>> Anyone have any ideas? I have been asked by a faculty member to locate to purchase the vhs (or dvd, if it exists) and the streaming rights for the title "Australia's Twilight of the Dreamtime", which was produced by the National Geographic Society, 1988. I have had no luck, only hit on Amazon.com.uk <http://amazon.com.uk/> for the vhs used, which will give me no streaming rights. Does anyone have contact information for somebody at National Geographic who might be able to help me? Or does anyone know whether this available anywhere else to purchase? Help..... Thanks Jeanne Little -- VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
