I like my Able Planet headphones, somewhat because they have active and
passive noise-reduction system (I assume there's less noise at your library
than a plane, though perhaps not by much sometimes), but mostly because
they have a detachable cord so when (not if) they break, the cord can be
replaced cheaply.
