I have a professor preparing to teach a course this semester that she has
only taught once before. She has asked me for help in locating any videos
on the subject of "Martyrdom and Noble Death in Judaism and Christianity."
She indicates that she found negligible options last time. She is
particularly interested in DVD's that: (1) explored martyrdom traditions in
ancient societies--like the ancient Near East, Greece and Rome, (2)
martyrdom traditions in literature and world religions, (3) and Christian
persecutions of Jews in the First Crusade in 1096, as narrated within the
Gezerot Tatnu traditions.

Thank you for any help you may provide.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
