You got the message the wrong way round, Stephan. I didn't kick him off this list - I am not in a position to do that to anyone. And I am personally saddened that he has chosen to go, but I understand his reasons. I actually invited him to take part in this list. He asked if RT was a contributor, and at that time I said I don't think he is. So Matanya made some valuable contributions. Eventually RT did join up, and the inevitable clash came. MO just can't be bothered with the confrontation, and decided to leave. I can see now, from my earlier posting, that it looks like I kicked him off the list. Nothing could be further from the truth, and this list remains unmoderated.
Roman, you are welcome to this list. You are doubtless happy that MO has gone, however there are many of us who wish he had stayed. Everyone: let's get along. We are all in this together. While in the past there were quite some flamewars on other lists between MO and others (it takes at least two, BTW), we all are capable of setting up appropriate filters in our software. I have been filtering out some people who contribute nothing than hot air and silly offtopics (which MO does neither, IMO), but I wouldn't welcome it to see them kicked off the list. There always seem to be some who read and answer those postings, and that's ok if I don't have to.
