But there seems to be vocal music with this system of bass line and
guitar alfabeto. For ex.

The four books f Villanelli by Kapsberger (1610, 1619, 1619, 1623).
The first and third have also theorbo tabulature.

Il secondo libro d'arie musicali by Stefano Landi, 1627.

Scherzi e canzonette by Biagio Marini, 1622.

This was just a pick from my bookshelf. I think I have seen also
other vocal music published this way.
