Not happening on RH Enterprise Server 4.0. I tried :!gvim recursively from every new gvim spawn (7 levels), no problem. Using 7.0aa, probably the last before the the first alpha, lat which could be gotten from anonymous CVS before CVS problems started. ---Zdenek
