Sorry, but to be totally lost is something completely different, the
user just has to move the cursor. There are not many invisible
characters anyway.
BTW, I have tried several color schemes in my console Vim (dark and
light ones) and I could always see the cursor being located at a bar (I
am using Windows XP). It may depend on the type of the console.
