In vimdiff mode, when you resize xterm vertically, 2 panes become desynchronized, and stay desynchronized until you press an arrow key. The active pane is repositioned according to resizing, but the other pane is not. And they get out of sync. To see this, choose two large files and position it somewhere in the middle.
