add one more note to VimOutliner plugin. It's wonderful. I gave my
PDA's to my brothers as gifts, migrated from corporate outlook and
kept my paper-based Filofaxes as backups and patches only to my single
vimoutliner file where I literally live. It's a plugin to vim and can
handle your todo lists perfectly, and even more: work breakdown
structures of arbitrary level of depth, tracking percentages of done
and still pending todo items, calendar, etc.
I can only recommend it.
It also has a mailing list, similar to this one.
