I just uploaded a new plugin to vim.org called lookupfile. This is a very simple yet powerful plugin to make finding files much easier and faster using the new Vim7 completion menu. You can download the plugin from:
http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1581 Please note that this requires a newer version of genutils plugin that is not backwards compatible with the older genutils versions, so if you need to have both versions install (which will be the case until your older plugins that depend on genutils start using the newer version of genutils), you need to follow special instructions given at genutils script page for both to coexist.
