I have the same problem. Installing vim 7.0 source in Suse 10.1, I always get
--enable-gui argument... no GUI support

I have xorg-x11-devel installed. I have installed libgnome-devel. No
luck. Any idea?

In Ubuntu 6.06, installing vim 7.0 is easy.
