Thanks. 'linebreak' seems like that's what I really want.:set lbr That turns it on. Just curious: how do I turn it off or query for its current value?
To turn it off, you can do either
:set nolbr
or
:set lbr!
(the latter toggles the option)
And to query it:
:set lbr?

where you can learn about the fun sub-options to the :set command
(such as resetting to the default value, etc)
