I performed the diff against what is in the svn repository since that will be a 'constant' and a known revision number. This avoids breakage against a 'point in time' diff against what happens to be the latest on ftp.nluug.nl at any given time. Also, my mail client was a bit too smart with the group list and I inadvertently sent the patch to the general vim list and not vim-dev. cheers
