Just so you know, the exact way to use marks in this situation (as
Yakov had mentioned) would be to do this:
<Esc>ma<scroll around, look at stuff, change stuff, do whatever>'a
'a can be replaced with `a also. The former (') goes to the line you
were at when you pressed ma (set a mark at a) and (`) goes to the
