Hi, vimmers, For some reason I'd like to have only one instances of gvim in my machine at most. launch gvim anyway when gvim has existing instance will switch to the existing one. (evenif no files are specified)
But the --remote-silent do not fully meet my requirement since it requires an argument. It requires one file to be open. If I want to: start gvim without opening any file will switch focus to existing gvim if available, and start a new one if no gvim exists. possible to do that? -- Sincerely, Pan, Shi Zhu. ext: 2606
