I use it exclusively at work where 99% of my e-mail is plain text or can be converted to plain text without losing any information. At home I use Thunderbird with the External Editor extension, just as Tony does, because a lot of the e-mail I receive there is HTML with formatting and images that I care about. I wish there was a way to share a common inbox between mutt and Thunderbird and be able to choose which client to use.
