Using the HiLink command is a bit outdated.  Unless you are stuck with a
very old version of Vim you can just use "hi def link".

This doesn't look right:

        runtime! syntax/lua.vim
        unlet b:current_syntax
        syntax include @Lua syntax/lua.vim

Including lua.vim twice?

How does one recognize a httest file?
