…and for anyone trying to find that 7.4a README file, it is at
http://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/unstable/patches/7.4a/README (or also, of
course, via FTP)
Personally I don't use the patches themselves (I have a Mercurial clone
of Vim), but the README is a great resource when looking for when a
given fix was implemented; and it also says if there are new patches
after the latest one I've pulled.
