Patch 7.4.055
Problem: Mac: Where availability macros are defined depends on the system.
Solution: Add a configure check. (Felix Bünemann)
Files: src/config.h.in, src/configure.in, src/auto/configure,
src/os_mac.h
Of course, changing configure causes a full recompile, even on systems
where the changes make no difference, allowing us to see compiler
messages for modules which otherwise are rarely modified.
This time, the only message I see in a Huge build (with all interpreted
languages except MzScheme and Python3) is:
In file included from if_python.c:801:0:
if_py_both.h: In function ‘_DictionaryItem’:
if_py_both.h:1590:2: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will
break strict-aliasing rules [-Wstrict-aliasing]
In my Tiny build (which doesn't include Python) there are no warnings at
all.
Best regards,
Tony.
