The main reason is that I have to modify plugins using setreg(v:register) to
do setreg("+") and setreg("*") in order to keep the primary and clipboard
selections the same. That is the intent when setting
clipboard=unnamed,unnamedplus, so I feel setreg(v:register) should set both
registers in that case.
