The google code blog post[1] mentions that google code offers link-redirection:
> I work on Google Code, and we will be putting a service in place to redirect > deep links to project homepages, issues, etc. to their new locations. Not sure what "etc" means, but ideally it means that links to tags like this: https://code.google.com/p/vim/source/detail?r=v7-4-687 will be redirected to this: https://github.com/vim/vim/tree/v7-4-687 Will link redirection be enabled? http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2015/03/farewell-to-google-code.html?showComment=1426178913316#c6979343460978972701 Justin M.
