This has been discussed before, without a clear winner for the existing
package managers, although I believe Vundle was favoured most.

This is an item on the "vote for features list":
"better plugin management system: automatic updates and dependencies"

I would also like to make it easier for the MS-Windows Vim installation
to be updated.  At least with a "check for updates" functionality.
