It looks like it works for me, with this test:


func! CloseCb(chan)
  syn match Error "foo"
endfunc

call ch_logfile('channellog', 'w')

call job_start('echo nothing', {'close_cb': 'CloseCb'})


The "foo" gets highlighted right away.
