What is the output of
:echo exists('+backupcopy')
? If it is 1, you already got it. In that case, «:help 'backupcopy'»
(with the single quotes but without the French ones) will tell you how
to use it, e.g. by settiing it to one of its possible values in your
vimrc.
Best regards,
Tony.
