I don't think any of the recent patches would have changed this.
Are you sure your setup hasn't changed?  Ideally you can run an older
build of Vim to check.

One patch was a refactoring of the termcap entries.  It should not have
made any difference, but perhaps there was a mistake.  If you can compare
with an older version that doesn't have the problem, please run
"set termcap" in both and compare the output.
