Actually I had a copy that I'd made before I started trying to get vim running on the android tablet. I copied it to my home folder and now I have macvim back. Still have a problem, though. It seems vim is not reading my .vimrc. [How can that be?] Some of my key mappings are working, some are not. Help with this greatly appreciated. I haven't a clue what's going on.
