I know this is optimistic, but on the (long-term) plan, are you intending to allow '/' to initiate a regular expression search: this would be fabulous. Continuous scrolling would be nice too (like acrobat's one: a sliver of grey between two pages and you can see the bottom of page one and the top of page two at the same time).
