Hello, everyone.

I've modified "g:browsefilter" to add some of my favourite file types to
the "Save As" dialogue box. However the file extension for the
particular kind of file that I'm editing is editing does not get
appended to the file name when I save the file (using the GUI of
course). Is there a way to tell Vim to automatically append the file
extension (after selecting a file type in the "Save As" dialogue box)
when I saved the file?

I'm using Vim 7.2 on Windows XP and I'm a first time Vim user, please
forgive me if this has been asked before. I've spent quite a while
reading/search the online manual plus googling on the web, yet I still
cannot find an answer to my question.

Cheers!

Ren Zhi
