Hi, first of all thanks for your reply. I use vim 7.2.65, on Arch linux, ftp transactions are working okay. My .vimrc has only "let g:netrw_ftpmode="ascii" "ascii ftp file transfer" about ftp settings, but it doesn't matter, because if i leave it in binary the window still pops out. I will try the new version of netrw when I come home and I'll report the results.
