Hm. It looks similar to a bug fixed by patch 7.2.065 (see
ftp://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/patches/7.2/README ) but apparently you've got
this fix.
If you can find a simple way to reproduce it every time in the latest
Vim version (currently 7.2.394), I'm sure the vim_dev group will be
interested.
