Where do we want to put our mailing list info, patch list,

Thanks for the alert that Google Groups will soon shut down
all "pages" and "files". I have downloaded all the current
items, and have listed them below for reference.

I assume that the Vim icons are available elsewhere, so
none of the files seem necessary.

These pages should be kept:
   http://groups.google.com/group/vim_dev/web/vim-patches
   http://groups.google.com/group/vim_mac/web/macvim
   http://groups.google.com/group/vim_use/web/vim-information

Rather than set up another site (confusion and more management),
I would suggest putting these on the Vim Tips wiki. They would
not be "tips", just wiki pages.

Good idea. About the patches: I haven't checked that page recently, but many of the patches that once were "unofficial" have been taken up in Vim 7.3. If you haven't already done it, maybe some "cleanup" would be in order.

As reported recently, I am highly irritated about Wikia's
arrogance regarding the wiki, and am doing very little there
until we see just how the new skin works (it can be seen now,
will be mandatory early November, and most of its "features"
will have been experienced by end November).

features, my <CENSORED />

Best regards,
Tony.
