Thanks. I took a quick look at https://github.com/vim/vim/blob/master/runtime/doc/todo.txt. I don't think there is a plan.
To support multi monitors within single gvim process, there would be huge amount of work, I guess. 90% of time, I use vim. 10% of time, when I need multi monitor support with single process, I (have to) use Emacs ^_^.
