Hey,
I would love to get all the software you said you were going to
give away on the Vintage Macs group. I collect vintage Mac and PC
software (Win 3.1 & under, Mac OS 8.5 & under). Are most of them still
in the box and have the manuals? Is most of it commercial software on
original disks? Even if you don't have the boxes and/or manuals, I'd
still like to pay for you to ship it to Lexington, Kentucky (US). But
only if it most of it is commercial software; some shareware is fine -
but for the most part I'm interested in commercial applications and
games. How many software item's would you say you have? Let me know
and how much you think it will cost to ship to Kentucky via the
cheapest shipping method. We have something called Media Mail provided
by the United States Postal Service. You can send software, books,
etc. only and it's very cheap. Maybe you have something like that in
Canada? Either way, just let me know what you think and I'll send you
the money. I have PayPal, which is the easiest way to pay you - but if
you don't have a PayPal account I'd be happy to send a money order.
Also, I'm interested in your 14" Apple Color Display; how bad is
the color shifting you mentioned? If it's not too frequent I'll
probably take that as well. I use my PowerMac 6100 quite frequently,
so if you think the color shifting would annoy me too bad - I'll
probably just take the 14" Performa Monitor. I currently have a 12"
Performa Display that I'm afraid is on it's way out.
I collect old hardware too, what do you think it would cost to
ship the LC 475? Let me know and depending I may pay to ship that as
well - but if it's too much then I'd like to get the 36Mb of RAM in
addition to the two VRAM SIMM Chips that should be in it. In case you
don't know, if your looking at the computer from the front - the VRAM
would be to the right of the RAM in right next to the power supply. If
you have any other old Mac / PC hardware let me know. But I definitely
want the software.
Thanks so much for your time, let me know what you think.
