Hi, I have a IIfx with a lacie 4.xxGB hard drive, two HD floppy drives, 128MB of RAM and no system software installed.
I have a set of OS 7.6 Install disks. I also have a floppy with a patched copy of Drive Setup 1.5 which is supposed to be able to format non-apple hard drives... I intend to format the drive, install OS 7.6, and then update to 7.6.1. My problem? I don't appear to have a single boot disk that will give me a finder in which I can use to run the patched Drive Setup program. This is driving me absolutely crazy.. I went through all my disks I could think of... they all either won't work on the IIfx, are too early an OS version to run Drive Setup 1.5, or they go directly to an installer and have no finder to load things from. My main computer is a G4 with two USB floppy drives. It can be rebooted to OS 9. If someone could either email me a disk image of a floppy that will allow me to get this thing rolling or perhaps offer to mail a floppy for a small fee, It'd be really appreciated....
