I wasn't sure which list to post this to, but here it goes. I have a Stylewriter 2200, the second portable stylewriter. I pulled it out of a closet and set it up to test. I noticed that I'd left ink tanks in the print head. Figuring that they'd be dry and confirming it with a test print that came out perfectly blank, I swapped the tank with a new set I also had in the closet. A second test print came out blank as well. I pulled the tanks out and took a look at the printhead but I'm not entirely sure what to look for. I'm guessing the tanks I left in it may have gummed up the print head, clogging it.
Is there any way to clean it out, or if not, would I be able to replace it? Is that a user replaceable part? Any help would be appreciated. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Vintage Macs group.
