I have two of those... They really are amazing. They do sound like a jet engine spinning up! Takes about 30 seconds too... Just recently I got the second one, a 8.45 Gb that I don't think had ever been used. Those would definitely not fit in any Mac I've seen... :) As for 3.5" drives, there's full hight and half hight. The half hight is what you'd think of as a normal HD. (I know everyone was talking about sizes in inches and stuff... I don't know if it was just me but I had a hard time following all that... There it is, more simply put.)
