Update to 8.1. !!!!
Mine works fine, plug into a switch though rather than a router, it is
10/100 (using the built in apple driver) I had it going to the
internet by using IPMasque over wireless through my powerbook. (that
is a linux util but there was something like it for macos).
Sometime versions of open transport are only for 68k or only for
powerpc. Make sure you have all the extensions for both kinds in your
extensions folder. Do universal install of the OS update...
