I just put an Asante card in my SE/30 and upgraded the OS to version
7.1.

But when I select Ethertalk it just says it cannot and boots me back
to Localtalk.

The Asante Troubleshooter passes the Memory Buffer Test, but fails on
the Network Interface Controller Test with "NIC Transmission Failed".

My Dell 2716 switch says it autonegotiates at 10M Half Duplex, is that
correct for this card?
I tried to force it to 10M Full Duplex but it didn't seem to like that
either.

Maybe tomorrow I'll try putting a dumb switch in between it.
I don't have a Hub or I would try that too I guess.

The Green lights do come on when it's powered up on the back of the
card on the SE/30 and also on the switch...
