So I'm looking at my little collection of Vintage Mac's, decide to pull down my
pride and joy, a Mac Classic, in MINT condition. No discolouring at all.
Museum quality they would say. Power it on and start up PGA Golf, click to
make my 4th swing of my 1W, when suddenly the wall behind my mac lights up in a
menacingly bright flash of white light. Stunned, I then realise, my Classic,
had flatlined, sitting dead silent before me. :(

Damn shame. Anyway, given the cosmetic condition of this unit, it feel
oblidged to repair it. Anyone have any ideas what exactly may have blown in my
unit? Just the power supply (as I suspect) or are these things known to blow
tubes or something more serious (which will be way out of my league to repair
probably)...? The flash was quite intense but made absolutely no sound or bang
or fizzle of any sort, nor was there any smell of burnt electrics. Just a
bright flash behind the Mac that illuminated the wall and now one very dead Mac
before me.

Any feedback appreciated. If anyone has any spare parts for a Classic Mac,
please let me know. I'm in Perth, WA. Thanks.
