probably well know to you vintagers, but I was initialising a 1.4 MB
diskette, which hung the computer. On resetting it sounded quite
stange, not the regular startup gong, but two sequences of four notes,
one rising, the second sequence one up, two down.
Nothing else. The machine worked until then. The pram battery is new,
there is a grey screen but no hard disk icon.
